Had you been out shopping the fantastic Eastown Streetfair on Saturday, September 19th you would have seen our brand new Actors’ Theatre booth! Board members and their friends were there in their Actors’ t-shirts, greeting passerbys, giving out information and hosting a drawing for a free Season Ticket!
The weather was wonderful and the people were even better. The Streetfair was an excellent way to get out and meet new folks and remind our community of the variety of arts organizations that our city has to offer.
You may notice the big clear “Mr. Peanut” jar on the corner of the table. It will also be appearing in the lobby during our shows and events. Everyone knows the Michigan economy has been hit hard – and the recent governmental cuts on arts funding is making it even tougher. That’s why we need your help… and your spare change!

We had many, many entries to our Season Ticket drawing. On September 23 we announced our winner – Conor Mulhall. Congratulations to Conor! Actors’ Theatre has an exciting season ahead, starting with the Pulitzer Prize winning TopDog/Underdog. We’ll see you all there!
