Final Notice! Living on the Edge Call for Scripts

This is a reminder that next Monday, February 8th, marks the deadline for play submissions for the seventh installment of our ten-minute play festival, Living on the Edge. This year’s theme for consideration by playwrights is “Making Art, Making Money”

The Actors’ Theatre Living on the Edge committee will read all scripts and select fifteen that will be read at a public reading on March 20, 2010. All writers whose pieces are not selected to be read at the public reading will receive written feedback from the Living on the Edge committee by February 23, 2010. The reading of the fifteen scripts presented on March 20, 2010 will begin at 10:00 AM at the Spectrum Theater.

At the public reading playwrights will receive 5 minutes of verbal feedback on their piece. Then the Living on the Edge committee will choose five finalists from the plays read at the public reading which will be presented in full production in June 2010 in the “black box” performance space (Room 201 – Spectrum Theater Building).

Scripts may be submitted via email to Kyle Dutkiewicz before midnight on February 8th.
