The 2011 Michigan Photo Competition is one of Lowell Area Arts Council’s first statewide Call for Artists. This juried exhibit will showcase the wide array of fine photographic talent found in all corners of our great state and welcomes all types and processes of photography. In honor of this photographic excellence, $2,100 in prize money will be awarded with $1,000 going to the first place winner, $500 for second place, $300 for third, $200 for fourth, and $100 for fifth.
Eligibility: Open to Michigan residents 18 years & older. Only original artwork completed within the past two years and not previously exhibited at the Lowell Area Arts Council will be eligible. The non-refundable entry fee is $30/artist with a maximum of two entries per artist. Entries by either CD or e-mail must be postmarked by July 8.
