From the Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company:
Love’s Labour’s Lost is a witty comedy in which the King of Navarre and the lords in his court take a vow to study for three years and not to see any women during that time. Their vow is immediately threatened by a visit from the Princess of France and her ladies in waiting, who come to Navarre on an embassy from the French king. Throw in a couple of oddball locals and what you have is the making of a laughable look at love in the Spanish countryside.
