Jean Reed Bahle in last season’s production of “August: Osage County.”
Jean Reed Bahle, a founding member of Actors’ Theatre, performed in the first show at Actors’ more than three decades earlier. With us, she has served as an actor, director, board member, teacher, volunteer and occasional playwright over the years. Her talents are among the best (if not arguably – the best) to be seen here in West Michigan (and any where else!) Jean offers that Actors’ is her “spiritual home” and we couldn’t be happier with this assessment… and Jean. We are sharing a video with you in which Jean talks about her love of “community-based” theater and invites you to support Actors’ in a unique way with the Emmy Award winning web series “Backstage Drama” www.backstagedrama.com created by Actors’ Theatre alums, Teresa Thome and Patrick Ziegler. The series was filmed in Grand Rapids and features local talent!
