World AIDS Day 2013

World AIDS Day

Actors’ Theatre is excited to be participating in Grand Rapids’ 2013 World AIDS Day walk and memorial service. Amy Osborn Kaechele, Larry Young and Lizzy Sulkowski will be performing from Andre’s Mother and Jeffrey Williams and Dylan Harris (from Actors’ original cast) will be performing from Love! Valour! Compassion!

From the Red Project’s Facebook event:

In cooperation with Jeffrey Richard Cipcic, The Grand Rapids Red Project invites you to join us as we celebrate World AIDS Day 2013!

It all happens on Sunday, December 1. We will begin with a candlelight vigil starting at Rosa Parks Circle at 6:00 that will take us to Fountain Street Church. Once there, we will have a Memorial Celebration starting at 7:00.

Finally, we will cap the evening with a Drag Show After Party at Rumors starting around 10:00 where free and confidential HIV testing will be offered by The Grand Rapids Red Project.

These events are free and open to all individuals who wish to attend. Join us for one or all (though there will be a door charge at Rumors).

A time to honor those we love – and those we have lost – in the AIDS epidemic.
