Actors’ Theatre is very proud to be a part of the World AIDS Day event being held at Fountain Street Church, presented by the Red Project, on Monday, December 1st at 7pm.
Actors’ family members, Ellie Frances, Jolene Frankey, Gary Gramer, Jane DeYoung, Rob Karel, Dylan Harris, Jennifer Jelsema and Todd Wilki, will be performing a few brief scenes from The Normal Heart and The Destiny of Me – both written by Larry Kramer and singing some great musical pieces such as: Hear My Song (Songs for a New World), No One Is Alone (Into The Woods) and True Colors (Cyndi Lauper).

The gala is May 1, 2014 from 6:30-9:00pm
Since the Grey Gardens estate is not currently safe for visitors, the gala will be held at the brand new
Rockford Construction headquarters in downtown Grand Rapids located at 601 First Street.
Attire for the event is business casual, with Bouvier attitude.
As Big Edie told Little Edie, “Don’t get excited, just put the damn thing on!”

The evening’s events will include: live and silent auctions, live performances around the Bouvier family grand piano, complimentary food and beverages, various games and photo opportunities!

Tickets are $35 for one, $60 for couples, and $20 for students (with proof of ID) IN ADVANCE.
At the door, tickets increase to $45 for one, $70 for couples, and $25 for students.

Join us for Fountain Street’s very first Mardi Gras Celebration & Fundraiser! This fundraiser will be held for Fountain Street Church, with a portion of our profits going to our partner, The Grand Rapids Red Project, to support their efforts in educating our community on the reality of HIV/AIDS.
Beat the cold with an evening filled with New Orleans-inspired Food, wine, beer, beads, beignets, and lively entertainment! You will get to enjoy a silent auction, complimentary photos, and musical performances by the Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra, Hawks & Owls String Band, The New Revival Jazz Band, and Kelly Carey! Stay for the Grand Finale featuring some very fabulous, marvelous, dazzling, and glamorous entertainers!
